Nature and stream in the Gründelbach valley
The difference

In the World Heritage valley. Without the noise.

You are not camping directly next to railway, road and ships, but 800 metres from the Rhine in a quiet green valley. Peaceful enough to slow down, close enough to enjoy everything the Middle Rhine is famous for.

Since 1742

A place with almost 300 years of history.

Before Häppy Life continued the story here, this location was a mill, tavern, excursion spot, guesthouse and finally a campsite. This history belongs to the valley and makes the place feel special.

From the fifth mill in the Gründelbach valley, the site grew over generations into a place for guests: with tavern, bowling alley, fair, guesthouse and from 1955 with camping. Since March 2026 Sebastian Krautkremer has been developing the location as Häppy Life - Rhein Camping Loreley.
